Members of the GWC Hens & Chickens Quilt Fellowship 

Prerequisite: Basic Sewing Skills

Learn some basic quilting techniques like Nine Patch blocks, Half Square Triangle blocks, Quilt as You Go, Stitch & Flip, and binding. With these techniques and new skills you will be able to make many other projects and quilts. In the workshop you will be making a potholder and a double sided table runner for two different occasions. These also make great gifts. There will be a $25 (check or money order) material fee payable at the first meeting. Materials include everything needed to complete a potholder and a double sided table runner. Sewing machine is required. You will have a choice of 2 or 3 themes, Halloween, Fall and Christmas. Fabrics may vary from picture.

Presenter: Members of the GWC Hens & Chickens Quilt Fellowship. The Fellowship began in 1989 when the quilting class at GWC ended. Each year, they make a quilt to raffle and the proceeds go to GWC scholarships.
