Medical Qigong for women

Qigong (energy work) has been used for centuries to relieve stress, strengthen the immune system, facilitate healing, and help cultivate harmony and balance of mind, body and spirit. This program specifically targets women’s health, providing a holistic self-care approach to healing issues related to PMS, hormone imbalances, endometriosis, breast and uterine tumors/cysts, fibrocystic breast disease, as well as issues related to menopause including memory loss, bone density, mood swings, hot flashes, and much, much more. These easy-to-learn, graceful qigong movements can be done both sitting and standing, and can be done by anyone regardless of age, fitness level or physical condition. A $5 materials fee is payable to the presenter at the first meeting. Wear comfortable clothing.

Presenter: Diana Shakarian – Holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology and has taught at the university level for over 25 years. She is a 6th Generation Usui Reiki Master, a Yang Style Tai Chi/Qigong Master, a UCLA Certified Mindfulness Instructor and an Eden Energy Medicine Authorized Teacher and Advanced Practitioner (EEM-AP). Diana operates an Energy Medicine private practice and teaches at colleges and venues throughout the United States.
