Junior Police Academy – Camp I

Junior Police Academy Camp at GWC

(Entering 6 – 8 Grades )

The Golden West College Jr. Police Academy is designed to introduce participants to the exciting world of the American Police Service. This program will emphasize personal character while introducing participants to the building blocks of police training: police science, discipline, accountability, and personal wellness. Each day participants will be mentored by active duty police and criminal justice system professionals while receiving classroom instruction in Physical Fitness, Crime Scene Investigation, Gangs, Narcotics, K-9, and more. Participants will run agility courses, search for suspects in our state-of-the-art scenario village and connect and learn from members of your own community; men and women in blue who model the very best in public service. Engaging and fun, participants will graduate with a new appreciation for serving others and a renewed sense of personal discipline. Please bring a bottle of water to camp each day. Friends and family are invited to the graduation ceremony at 10am on the last day of camp.
