Send Your Child to Science Summer Camp

The Golden West Science Quest is a fun and exciting summer science camp offered to students entering 4th through 8th grade. This week-long camp will have morning workshops for younger campers and afternoon workshops for older campers, with hands-on experiments and activities catered to each age group. Each day is focused on a unique science topic, including Harry Potter-themed Chemistry, Ecology and Environmental Biology, Physics, Geology, Astronomy, Mathematics, and even a frog dissection! This Camp is sure to engage young minds and enhance their understanding of many scientific topics.

Summer Camp fee $240*
(*A limited number of scholarships will be available for students that qualify for free/reduced lunch at their school. When enrolling, please check the box if your child qualifies).

9 am – 12 pm (check-in at 8:45 am)
STEM Center- Math and Science Building Room 114

Presenters: Workshops are run by Golden West College faculty who are excited to share their love of science with the future scientists of tomorrow. Kay Dutz and Stephanie Nobles are Chemistry instructors, Travis Vail and Stephanie Tanio teach Biology, John Hobgood and Gita Alemansour are instructors of Physics and Mathematics, respectively, while Bud Benneman specializes in Geology.
