Chair Yoga – Option 2 (Apr. 3 – May 12)

A unique style of yoga that adapts Hatha Yoga poses to a chair.  The chair provides safe support and stability while strengthening the body and calming the mind.  Beneficial breathing techniques are practiced to reduce stress and improve mental fitness. Chair Yoga is perfect for participants who need to enhance flexibility, improve balance, strengthen muscle tone, boost mobility and increase circulation.  Chair Yoga is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions.  Wear loose comfortable clothing. Please bring a blanket or towel and a seat cushion.

Presenter: Linda Turner, RDH, RYT200, LVCYT – Is a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Shakti Wellness Center and Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga program, both registered by Yoga Alliance. She is also a Registered Dental Hygienist. Since 2007, Linda has been passionately practicing yoga and deepening her understanding of the true and authentic philosophy of yoga.
